Our Story
Built Different was born from one simple conviction:
"Following Jesus should transform the way we live, lead, love, and influence the world around us."
We believe faith was never meant to stay inside church walls. It was meant to shape families, strengthen communities, and impact generations. Founded by Corie and Raphael Juniel, Built Different is a Christ-centered movement helping people discover their God-given identity and live boldly for His Kingdom.
Corie and Raphael Juniel are passionate followers of Christ, devoted parents, and community builders who believe that every generation has the potential to leave a lasting legacy when their identity is rooted in Jesus. Together, they have dedicated their lives to raising a family centered on faith, serving their community, mentoring others, and helping people discover that they were never created to blend into the culture—they were created to stand apart for the Kingdom of God.

Raphael Juniel
Raphael brings a heart for serving, leadership,
integrity, and unwavering faith. Through life's victories and
hardships alike, he has remained committed to honoring God, loving
his family well, and demonstrating what it means to lead with
humility, courage, and strength. His life reflects the quiet
influence of a man who understands that true leadership begins with
faithful obedience to Christ.
Corie Juniel
Corie is a visionary, educator, entrepreneur,
and creative leader with a passion for discipleship and developing
practical resources that help people grow in their walk with Christ.
Whether creating journals, building communities, mentoring families,
or teaching biblical principles, her desire is to equip others with
tools that inspire bold faith and intentional living.
Why We Started Built Different
Built Different exists to serve every stage of life—from children and students to college, young adults, marriages, parents, men, women, and seniors—creating opportunities for biblical teaching, mentorship, authentic community, leadership development, and Kingdom impact. This movement is committed to raising disciples who are spiritually grounded, biblically literate, courageous in their faith, and unashamed to live differently in a world that constantly pressures people to conform.
Our Prayer
Our prayer is that every person who joins Built Different will discover that being "built different" is not about being better than others. It is about allowing God to transform your heart so completely that your life becomes a reflection of Jesus wherever He calls you, and to see generations of believers who live with integrity, lead with humility, influence with courage, and love like Christ.
Because when ordinary people surrender completely to God...
